Being an ardent fan of Leon Jay Williams, I did not want to miss the chance of seeing his debut performance in the drama [La Robe de mariee des cieux]. So at 4.00 pm I switched on the TV and spent the next hour enjoying the drama.

Characters in the drama:-

Leon Jay Williams as Aaron Lu Zi Hao (陆子皓).
Cyndi Wang as Tao Ai Qing (陶艾青).
Matthew Ming Dao as Cheng Hai Nuo (程海诺).
Guan Ying as Katrina.

Episode 1 starts off …….

Tao Ai Qing was happy that at last she saved enough for her trip to Paris while Aaron Lu was in Paris to receive the coveted Laurel Award for Fashion Design. In Paris Aaron Lu met an old granny who advised him that he was destined to meet his soul mate here and the coin which she gave him would bring him to his soul mate. Not believing what the granny had said, Aaron Lu threw away the coin which dropped to the ground in front of Tao Ai Qing. Ai Qing picked up the coin. A twist of fate, both Aaron Lu and Ai Qing passed by each other. Experiencing some kind of a strange feeling, Aaron Lu turned around and looked puzzlingly at Ai Qing’s back.

Katrina, a well known model, was Aaron Lu’s girlfriend. After winning the coveted Laurel Award which Aaron Lu presented to Katrina, Aaron proposed to Katrina. Instead of wanting a diamond ring, Katrina requested Aaron to buy the wooden horse that she liked. At the souvenir shop, Aaron met Ai Qing and they both fought for the purchase of the wooden horse. Though Aaron was willing to pay a high price for the wooden horse, the shop owner refused to sell to him. Later that evening Ai Qing came back to the shop and left behind a self-made key chain as replacement for the wooden horse which she took. Aaron saw that and informed the shop owner but the shop owner just ignored Aaron. When Aaron came out from the shop, he had lost sight of Ai Qing.

At the airport, Aaron Lu spotted Ai Qing, managed to catch up with her and asked her for the wooden horse which Ai Qing lied that she had lost the wooden horse.

Back in Taiwan and waking up in the familiar surrounding of her bedroom, Ai Qing’s thoughts were disrupted by her grandfather asking her to get ready for her class with the children at the farmstead.

On the other hand, Cheng Hai Nuo was in a motorbike race when he lost control of his bike which rammed into the fences at the farmstead moving towards where Ai Qing was having her class with the children. The sudden loud pang of noise frightened the children and the horses at the farmstead who ran scatteringly away from being hit by Cheng Hai Nuo’s bike. Cheng Hai Huo’s bike hit a rock with Cheng Hai Nuo letting go of the bike and landed on the ground. Tao Ai Qing asked her grandfather to take care of Cheng Hai Nuo while she pacified the frightened children.

In the midst of the turmoil, three strangers appeared at the farmstead requesting to see the owner of the farmstead. They were representing Globe Corporation to serve notice to Ai Qing’s grandfather to move out as their boss had bought over the farmstead.

While on her way to Globe Corporation’s office, Ai Qing was nearly knocked by Aaron Lu’s car when she fell from her bike which hit a stone. Upon seeing each other, they bickered again. Ai Qing threw the money at Aaron Lu’s face. Aaron Lu sped off with his car with Ai Qing cursing after him. After driving a short distance, Aaron Lu’s car met with a punctured tyre. Ai Qing passed by Aaron Lu, ridiculing him.

Outside Globe Corporation’s office, Ai Qing met her close friend Ah Qi who was a reporter. Ai Qing wanted to barge into Globe Corporation’s office to look for Aaron Lu to discuss on the farmstead matter, but Ah Qi dissuaded her and suggested Ai Qing coming back the next day when Aaron Lu would be holding his first fashion show.

On the other hand, Cheng Hai Nuo was competing in a motorbike race and won the 1st spot. While receiving his winner trophy, Hai Nuo spotted Ai Qing, shouted a nickname [金发牧羊nv] [golden haired ranch girl] at Ai Qing and declared Ai Qing as his girlfriend. Ai Qing ignored Hai Nuo’s remarks and went about selling her lavender-flavoured ice-creams.

That night Ai Qing went to look for her brother, scolding him for selling the farmstead quietly and leaving her & grandfather ‘homeless’ soon. On her way back to the farmstead, Ai Qing fell into Hai Nuo’s arms when she lost control of her bike after her bike knocked into a road’s divider. Hai Nuo invited Ai Qing for a meal when Ai Qing got drunk. The next morning Ai Qing woke up and found herself in a strange room …..

Episode 2 ……

Waking up in a strange room, still with the previous night’s hangover, Ai Qing was trying to remember what happened when Hai Nuo walked into the room and teasingly implied that something happened between them …… Upon hearing this Ai Qing became anxious and scolded Hai Nuo till Hai Nuo’s housekeeper came in to explain to Ai Qing what really happened. Hai Nuo kept a ‘chameleon’ as his pet and thinking it would scare Ai Qing but instead Ai Qing was at ease with his pet. Hai Nuo encouraged Ai Qing if she wished to win, she must be strong-willed and displayed deadly challenging eye stare. While Uncle Zhong related Hai Nuo’s background to Ai Qing.

Hai Nuo presented to Ai Qing her favourite flavoured lollipop and accompanied her to look for Aaron Lu with his motorbike pulling Ai Qing’s bicycle along the streets. This scene was seen by Hai Nuo’s ex-racing team mate, Xiang Zhen. Upon arrival at Globe Corporation’s main entrance Ai Qing was met by her reporter friend, Ah Qi. Ah Qi was attracted to Hai Nuo’s charms. At the same time Aaron Lu’s personal assistant - Freddie also arrived and Ai Qing dodged away avoiding to meet him head-on as he was one of the people who went to the farmstead to give notice for Ai Qing’s grandfather to leave the farmstead. Hai Nuo told Ai Qing not to worry, walked over to Freddie and threatened Freddie to bring Ai Qing to meet Aaron Lu. Hai Nuo gave Ai Qing an encouraging hug and said that he would wait for her outside. Looking at Hai Nuo’s back, Freddie realized Hai Nuo was the motorbike racer that he idolized.

Freddie brought Ai Qing into the building and asked her to wait at a corner and not to move about without his permission. While waiting, Ai Qing saw Katrina with a man whose back gave Ai Qing a familiar feeling. When the man turned around and Ai Qing saw it was the man who she nicknamed as ‘爆发副’ (hot-tempered guy), she became furious and walked up to him. Aaron Lu ignored Ai Qing and went about his chores in helping Katrina dressed up for his fashion show. An impatient Ai Qing could no longer wait and shouted at Aaron Lu showing him the wooden pony while saying that she’s pregnant with his baby. This surprised Aaron Lu, Katrina and everybody who was there. A shocked Aaron Lu immediately grabbed hold of Ai Qing and angrily scolded her for her nonsense remarks. Ai Qing’s remarks had also created an misunderstanding between Aaron Lu and Katrina. A jealous Katrina then refused to model for Aaron Lu’s fashion show and walked off. Aaron Lu, not about to succumb to Katrina’s jealousy whims, forced Ai Qing to replace Katrina to model his clothes and agreed to discuss the farmstead matter with Ai Qing after the fashion show.

Without further delay, Aaron Lu instructed his staff to expedite their preparation and coached Ai Qing on the catwalk tips. Ai Qing could not believe the transformation in her when she saw herself in the mirror ~~~ after the makeup and wearing the designer’s clothes, Ai Qing has changed from a plain girl into a beautiful lady. But Ai Qing was still very nervous and hesitant of doing the catwalk. Aaron Lu took her to the backstage rest room, calmed Ai Qing with praises of her pretty facial features and sunny smile and planted a kiss on her forehead as an encouragement to build up Ai Qing’s confidence. Hiding behind the curtains one unscrupulous reporter snapped a photo of this scene when Aaron Lu was kissing Ai Qing’s forehead.
Aaron Lu prodded Ai Qing forward to the catwalk stage. When Ai Qing appeared at the catwalk stage, the audiences were surprised to see the short Ai Qing modeling the dress and gave negative comments. The audiences’ jeerings and negative comments affected Ai Qing, making her lose confidence and she just stood nervously at the catwalk’s centre stage. Seeing the noisy crowd and to save the rowdy situation, Aaron Lu quickly instructed the other models to lead Ai Qing and over the wireless phone instructed Freddie to follow what he said. At the look of Aaron Lu’s encouraging eyes stare, Ai Qing regained her confidence and managed to complete the first round catwalk gracefully.

At the 2nd round catwalk show, Ai Qing wore Aaron Lu’s special designed gown and the audiences were amazed when Ai Qing appeared at the stage. While trying to manoeuvre her steps, Ai Qing accidently stepped on the hem of the gown and she fell to the floor …… Everyone was stunned momentarily till Aaron Lu went forward to pull Ai Qing up, described to the audiences the design of the special evening gown and remodify the gown from a long gown to a short gown thereon. The audiences gave Aaron Lu a loud applause for his wonderful creation. While gracing the catwalk stage, Ai Qing felt dizzy and almost fell if not for Aaron Lu’s quick action of pulling her back into his embrace. During that momental embrace, Ai Qing’s heart was beating rapidly and she felt Aaron Lu’s warmth and gentleness.

When the fashion show was over, Aaron Lu held a press conference. In the midst of the press conference, Ai Qing barged in and pestered Aaron Lu to discuss with her on the farmstead matter. This angered Aaron Lu and he furiously ordered Ai Qing to move out of the farmstead within 3 days. Angrily shouting at Aaron Lu that she would file a suit against him, Ai Qingsadly left Globe Corporation’s building with Ah Qi and Hai Nuo consoling her.

A solemn Aaron Lu was in his office, deep in thoughts, when Freddie walked in informing him that the fashion show was a success and received good recognition from some world’s famous fashion designers. Freddie tried to appeal Ai Qing’s matter with Aaron Lu but Aaron Lu was adamant with his decision and instruct Freddie to take charge and ensure that Ai Qing would move out of the farmstead. Aaron Lu left the office and while crossing the streets, he was waylaid by Hai Nuo and friends. Hai Nuo tried to reason out with Aaron Lu on the farmstead matter but Aaron Lu refused to talk about the matter.

That night at the farmstead Ai Qing’s grandfather took out his wife’s photo and remorsefully blamed himself for not safeguarding the farmstead. On the other hand, Aaron Lu recalling what Freddie and Hai Nuo had said earlier, went to Katrina’s apartment and seek her forgiveness which Katrina gladly accepted. Meanwhile Hai Nuo thinking of Ai Qing’s sadness, hopelessness, decided to help Ai Qing. Ai Qing too had also determined to fight all odds to safeguard her grandfather’s farmstead.

Episode 3 ……

Next morning appeared on the headlines in most newspapers the picture of Aaron Lu kissing Ai Qing’s forehead and the scandalous news report on Ai Qing’s catwalk show in the fashion show. The news were seen by Ai Qing’s grandpa and Hai Nuo. Hai Nuo and Ah Bu were at the farmstead to clarify the matter with Ai Qing when Freddie came to remind Ai Qing to move out of the farmstead within 3 days. Hai Nuo and Ai Qing decided to look for Aaron Lu to resolve the farmstead matter. They demanded Freddie to reveal Aaron Lu’s whereabouts.

Hai Nuo accompanied Ai Qing to look for Aaron Lu. They went to the restaurant where Aaron Lu was having breakfast with Katrina. When Ai Qing walked into the restaurant, everybody there looked awkwardly at Ai Qing. Oblivious of the awkwardness, Ai Qing admitted to one of the customers at the restaurant that she’s the girl in the news report. Inorder to avoid moving out of the farmstead, putting aside her self-pride Ai Qing approached Aaron Lu and humbly appealed for Aaron Lu’s consideration to take her in as his worker to take care of the farmstead. But Aaron Lu humiliated Ai Qing and scolded her for disturbing his pleasant breakfast moods. Seeing this, Hai Nuo could no longer remain silent and stepped forward retaliating he would help Ai Qing buy back the farmstead. Hai Nuo’s remarks further angered Aaron Lu. A fuming Aaron Lu revoked his 3 days’ shifting notice and ordered Ai Qing to move out of the farmstead immediately.

Ai Qing then left the restaurant, controlling her tears with Hai Nuo following after her.
Hai Nuo was consoling Ai Qing when he saw Xiang Zhen intimately walking out of the restaurant with a middle-aged man. Excusing himself from Ai Qing, Hai Nuo approached Xiang Zhen wanting to clarify with her but Xiang Zhen ignored Hai Nuo and aboarded the taxi together with the middle-aged man. An anxious Hai Nuo then chased after Xiang Zhen in his motorbike.

On the other hand at the restaurant, a news reporter He Xin was questioning Aaron Lu on the rumours regarding his designs were imitations of other designers’ creations. The reporter’s remarks sparkled Aaron Lu’s anger and Aaron Lu would have punched him if not for Katrina’s intervention.

Ai Qing was at the wishing pond trying to retrieve enough coins for her bus fare to the farmstead when Aaron Lu’s design blueprint flew past her. Ai Qing lost her balance and almost fell into the pond if not for Aaron Lu’s catching hold of her hands. Ai Qing volunteered to retrieve Aaron Lu’s design blueprint from the pond. Looking at Ai Qing’s back while she retrieved his blueprint, at that instant images of a girl he once loved flashed through his mind. Ai Qing passed the blueprint to Aaron Lu while questioning him for not valuing his design blueprint. He Xin (the reporter) interrupted and said that design blueprint was an imitation. However Ai Qing did not believe He Xin’s words and instead helped Aaron Lu to retaliate the reporter: [If I use a ball-point pen to write and you also use a ball-point to write, does this mean you are also doing an imitation?] Aaron Lu smiled upon seeing the reporter dumb-folded by Ai Qing’s words. He Xin then left while Katrina reminded Aaron Lu that they were already late for an art show. Seeing Aaron Lu engrossed with his design blueprint, Katrina decided to attend the art show alone and left Aaron Lu with an uneasy feeling in her heart.

On the other hand Hai Nuo managed to catch up with the taxi Xiang Zhen aboarded and demanded her reasons for leaving the team. Xiang Zhen slapped Hai Nuo and threw angry remarks at Hai Nuo for not remembering the hurt that he had inflicted her few months back when she fainted at a warehouse. Then suddenly Xiang Zhen passed out.

Coming back to Aaron Lu and Ai Qing …… Seeing Ai Qing’s wet jeans, Aaron Lu volunteered to send Ai Qing back to the farmstead. In the car, though Aaron Lu was very silent throughout the journey, Ai Qing felt a streak of warmth and thought Aaron Lu was actually not that bad. Aaron Lu ordered his personal assistant to drive him back to the office first. At the carpark, Ai Qing was relunctant to get out of the car. However having no other choice, Ai Qing followed Aaron Lu into his office. Arriving at the office, Aaron Lu ordered his staff to help Ai Qing change her wet clothes. However his staff misunderstood his instructions and instead dressed up Ai Qing prettily. Wondering what was taking his staff so long to change Ai Qing’s wet clothes, an impatient Aaron Lu bumped into Ai Qing who was walking out of the dressing room. An amazed Aaron Lu stared at the pretty Ai Qing, touching her face gently. At that instant Ai Qing felt her heart beating rapidly and she could feel Aaron Lu’s gentleness and warmth.

Katrina was on her way to meet Aaron Lu at his office when she saw Aaron Lu and Ai Qing inside the lift at such a close proximity. Her jealousy was aroused.

Before Aaron Lu sent Ai Qing home, he treated Ai Qing dinner at a Italian restaurant.
During dinner, Ai Qing asked Aaron Lu why the reporter He Xin said that his designs were imitations. Aaron Lu asked Ai Qing of her opinions on his designs. Ai Qing responded why Aaron Lu cared so much of what people’s opinions. Most important that Aaron Lu had used his own effort and ability in creating his designs and was satisfied with his achievements. Ai Qing’s comments touched a warm spot within Aaron Lu’s heart and Aaron Lu became less aloof while Ai Qing felt Aaron Lu’s loneliness despite his fame and wealth.

When Aaron Lu sent Ai Qing back to the farmstead, Ai Qing took advantage of Aaron Lu’s relaxed disposition to seek Aaron Lu’s consideration of not chasing her and her grandpa out of the farmstead and Ai Qing gave Aaron Lu the wooden pony in return for his consideration. Ai Qing grandpa informed Ai Qing that Hai Nuo was injured. Ai Qing quickly rushed back to Aaron Lu’s car and requested him to send her over to Hai Nuo’s place.

Episode 4 ……

Despite his injuries, next morning Hai Nuo still went to visit Ai Qing and met Freddie at the farmstead. Though Freddie very much liked to help Ai Qing but there was nothing he could do except hoping for a miracle to happen. Ai Qing’s grandpa came running towards them shouting that there’s something wrong with Ai Qing’s favourite goat. They took the goat to the vet (animal doctor) who saved the goat’s life. Hai Nuo seeing Ai Qing’s love for the goat and her unhappiness, he pestered Freddie to help Ai Qing by letting Ai Qing and her grandpa to move into the wooden shack next to the farmstead’s main building.

Meanwhile Aaron Lu was deep in thoughts while holding the wooden pony when Katrina walked into the room and enquired where Aaron had been last night. Aaron was relunctant to discuss the matter and changed the subject enquiring about Xiang Zhen’s well being instead.

While at the hospital, Xiang Zhen reminisced in her mind a happy picture of Hai Nuo and her with their child. She decided to forgive Hai Nuo.

Ai Qing thanked Freddie for helping her by letting her stay in the nearby wooden shack. Freddie was full of praises for Hai Nuo and requested Ai Qing to call Hai Nuo with his ell phone. Instead Ai Qing asked Freddie for Aaron Lu’s cell phone number.

Cosmo (Katrina’s dad) questioned Aaron Lu about the scandalous news of his fashion show. Katrina helped Aaron explained the matter. Cosmo wanted Aaron and Katrina to get married immediately. However Aaron expressed the need to discuss marriage matters with his parents first which angered Cosmo and he ordered Katrina to fly back to Italy. Aaron could no longer tolerate Cosmo’s dominance. Katrina felt Aaron had changed since meeting Ai Qing and a heated argument ensued between them.

It was unfortunate for Ai Qing to call Aaron for his decision regarding the farmstead when Aaron was still fuming after the argument with Katrina. Aaron just pissed Ai Qing off over the cell phone for disturbing him. A mad Ai Qing decided to go ahead with her plans to spite Aaron. Images of Ai Qing flashed through Aaron’s mind which helped to cool down his fury. Aaron’s mother showed concern and unknowingly Aaron discussed with his mother about Ai Qing.

Next morning, Ai Qing was chatting with her herd of goats, requesting them to help her fight back for the farmstead. Ai Qing almost chickened out but Freddie lamented this was Ai Qing’s last chance to fight back for the farmstead.

Meanwhile at the hospital Hai Nuo advised Xiang Zhen to abort the baby. Xiang Zhen became very angry and madly threw things at Hai Nuo. Xiang Zhen was real heartbroken when Hai Nuo admitted his love for Ai Qing. Xiang Zhen refused to abort the baby and Hai Nuo promised he would take care of her baby throughout his life.

Aaron Lu was in the midst of hosting a cocktail party officiating a ceremony for setting up his studio at the farmstead when Ai Qing’s herd of goats ran scatteringly into the crowd. There was a commotion, everyone running into the main building trying to avoid being knocked off by the goats. Aaron Lu protected Katrina and this ended the hostility between them. As one of Ai Qing’s goat bumped into He Xin making him fall. Angrily He Xin lifted a wooden chair wanting to hit at the goat. Seeing He Xin’s intention, Ai Qing quickly rushed to rescue her goat with Aaron also rushing to Ai Qing’s side shielding her from being hit by the wooden chair. The wooden chair landed on Aaron’s back and Aaron’s flinched with pain. For a moment everyone there was stunned standing haplessly looking at Ai Qing and Aaron Lu …….

Later Freddie walked into the wooden shack informing Aaron Lu that everything was under control and Aaron’s parents had already left the farmstead. A furious Aaron Lu then questioned Freddie why Ai Qing and her grandpa were still at the farmstead. Ai Qing insisted it was not Freddie’s fault and lamented that she’s responsible for causing the commotion. Ai Qing then requested all of them to leave her alone to pack her things with Freddie appealing to Aaron Lu not to chase Ai Qing and her grandpa away. Aaron Lu expressed he had no intention to chase Ai Qing away from the farmstead. Instead Aaron offered Ai Qing a job, giving her a 3-months’ trial period, to the annoyance of Katrina. On hearing Aaron’s offer, Ai Qing jumped to joy and quickly called for the ambulance to send Aaron Lu for treatment to his back injury. Both Katrina and Ai Qing were anxious about Aaron’s back injury and enquired the examining doctor if Aaron Lu should abstain from any food.

When the three of them were about to leave the hospital, they heard people shouting that someone was trying to commit suicide. They looked up the building and saw Xiang Zhen trying to jump out of the ward window with Hai Nuo forcefully pulling her back. Ai Qing then rushed into the hospital heading for Xiang Zhen’s ward with Aaron and Katrina following from behind. When Ai Qing walked into Xiang Zhen’s ward room, saw Hai Nuo trying to calm down an outraged Xiang Zhen on the bed and heard Xiang Zhen’s outburst remark that she’s pregnant with Hai Nuo’s baby. Abu tried to explain but was interrupted by a call from Jie Bu Zai (吉普赛) threatening to harm Hai Nuo’s friends if Hai Nuo refused to meet him.

Upon receiving the call, Hai Nuo left immediately with Ai Qing following and shouting after him for mistreating Xiang Zhen. Both Aaron and Katrina advised Xiang Zhen to rest well and invited her to make a comeback into modeling. Xiang Zhen responded her mind was only on the safety of Hai Nuo and appealed for Aaron’s help. Aaron seek Katrina’s consent. When Katrina gave her consent, Aaron quickly left the room and Katrina wondered if Aaron’s intention was to help Hai Nuo or worried for Ai Qing’s safety.

Hai Nuo and Abu managed to rescue their friends. However Ba Wang (霸王), wanting to help Xiang Zhen to release her wrath on Hai Nuo, began beating up Hai Nuo. Hai Nuo did not ward off Ba Wang’s fist punches. Then he angrily walked out of the warehouse with his friends warning Hai Nuo not to mistreat Xiang Zhen. Jie Bu Zai regained consciousness and wanted to hit Hai Nuo quietly from behind but was stopped by Ai Qing. Instead Jie Bu Zai tried to hit Ai Qing with the steel rod but landed on Hai Nuo’s back who shielded Ai Qing from being hit. Hai Nuo managed to overcome Jie Bu Zai and beat him till he fainted. Over-concerned for Ai Qing’s safety, Hai Nuo scolded Ai Qing for endangering herself to protect him from Jie Bu Zai’s beating. Ai Qing retaliated with a slap on Hai Nuo’s face for mistreating Xiang Zhen and she would no longer care for him. Then she ran out of the warehouse with Hai Nuo chasing after her along the streets. Hai Nuo managed to catch up with Ai Qing and appealed for Ai Qing to be his steady girlfriend. Ai Qing refused to listen to Hai Nuo’s appeal, kept telling Hai Nuo not to mistreat Xiang Zhen ….. till Hai Nuo forcefully kissed her lips to stop Ai Qing’s rumblings. Both of them was unaware of Aaron’s presence there who felt uneasy seeing Hai Nuo kissing Ai Qing

Episode 5 …….

Ai Qing scolded Hai Nuo for mistreating Xiang Zhen while Hai Nuo did not wish to make any explanations. Zi Hao (Aaron) came forward and dragged Ai Qing away from Hai Nuo with Hai Nuo claiming that Zi Hao also liked Ai Qing. Ai Qing felt ‘bullied’ by Hai Nuo’s actions but Zi Hao felt Hai Nuo truly liked Ai Qing. Ai Qing looked at Zi Hao, fighting her frustrations within her heart.

He Xin’s falsely reported in the papers that Zi Hao’s designs were imitations that infuriated and hurt Zi Hao. Both Zi Hao and Katrina had a heated argument over the news. Impulsively Katrina suggested that they should break up and Zi Hao gave his consent. Seeing Zi Hao’s indifference, Katrina felt sad.

On the other hand Ai Qing was feeling restless and Zi Hao kept appearing in her thoughts. Why was she so concerned of what Zi Hao think of her? Is she falling for Zi Hao? She could feel her face turning red and her heart was beating fast. She could not sleep at all.

Zi Hao was preparing for his Spring Fashion Show when He Xin came and announced he would ensure Zi Hao not being able to carry out his Spring Fashion Show. Hai Nuo also came bringing with him drinks for Zi Hao’s staff as a gesture of requesting the staff to take care of Ai Qing. Ai Qing dragged Hai Nuo out of the office and walked to a nearby stream expressing that she only looked upon Hai Nuo as a good friend, a brother, definitely not as a lover. Though Hai Nuo was dejected, very sad, he still carefreely disclosed that his liking for Ai Qing would never change and walked off sadly. On the other hand Zi Hao was thinking of Katrina. He called her handphone but there was no response.

Zi Hao brought along a bouquet of flowers wanting to apologise to Katrina who was shooting an advertisement at the studio. Due to their pride, both Zi Hao and Katrina refuse to compromise, and in their heated argument, Katrina decided to set Zi Hao free which Zi Hao readily accepted.

Inorder to protect Hai Nuo, Ah Bu was beaten up by Ba Wang. Ah Bu went to look for Jie Bu Zai and revealed how he raped Xiang Zhen, not realizing Xiang Zhen was there. Upon hearing what Ah Bu said, a dejected Xiang Zhen left the place. Ah Bu managed to overpower Jie Bu Zai and almost beating him to death if not for Hai Nuo’s intervention. Hai Nuo refused to take up Jie Bu Zai’s death staking racing challenge. Hai Nuo left with An Bu and scolded Ah Bu for his reckless action.

Xiang Zhen senselessly walked along the streets and almost got knocked down by a car. Coming to her senses, she decided not to forgive the person who had seriously caused her loss of self-esteem.

Ai Qing’s pet rabbit, wulongcha, ran into Zi Hao’s working studio with Ai Qing searching for him. Ai Qing found the bouquet of roses in the bin. Zi Hao then said he wished to throw away his love which happened to be heard by Katrina who came to apologise. Upon hearing Zi Hao’s words, Katrina sadly left Zi Hao’s working studio. While listening to the music, images of young girl Xing Xing came into his thoughts. Ai Qing advised him to forget his painful past and remained happy.

Ai Qing asked her grandpa how was it to like someone. Her grandpa happily explained without realizing who he thought to be was actually not the person on Ai Qing’s mind.

Hai Nuo purposely brought a girl to meet Ai Qing. Ai Qing scolded Hai Nuo for being irresponsible to Xiang Zhen. A furious Hai Nuo then scolded Ai Qing for being naïve when Ah Bu called and informed him that Xiang Zhen was missing.

Xiang Zhen, holding a baseball stick, went to look for Jie Bu Zai. Jie Bu Zai was helpless and did not know what to do.

Episode 6 ……

Xiang Zhen attacked Jie Bu Zai with the baseball stick. Inorder to kill Jie Bu Zai’s baby that she’s pregnant with, Xiang Zhen staked her life to commit the suicide race across the gulf. An exasperated Jie Bu Zai chased after Xiang Zhen, trying to stop her. About halfway to the edge, Xiang Zhen’s sight suddenly blurred, lost control of the motorbike and fell from it. Jie Bu Zai quickly rushed Xiang Zhen to the hospital, looking at her full of regret. While Hai Nuo rushed to the scene and found the motorbike’s brake had been tampered.

Ai Qing was hanging the clothes while looking aimlessly into Zi Hao’s working studio. Zi Hao was making preparations for the Spring Fashion Show. After Zi Hao’s assistant left the studio, Ai Qing wanted to declare her love to Zi Hao but was disrupted when the assistant returned. Next morning Ai Qing was tidying up Zi Hao’s desk when Emma mistakenly accused her of tampering with Zi Hao’s design sketches. Ai Qing was pretty sad. Zi Hao showed concern but Ai Qing still did not have the courage to declare her love to Zi Hao.

Ai Qing wanted to declare her love to Zi Hao who was sleeping on the sofa after working thru’ the night. Suddenly Freddie rushed into the studio, waking up Zi Hao and informing Zi Hao about He Xin’s news report of David W’s new fashion designs release, which happened to be the same as zi Hao’s designs. Upon seeing the news, Zi Hao became furious and Freddie advised him to cancel the Spring Fashion Show. However Zi Hao insisted to carry on with the Fashion Show. Zi Hao then took all his design sketches and burned them. In the midst of saving the sketches from being burnt, Ai Qing’s arm got scalded.

Having had a miscarriage, Xiang Zhen lost control of her feelings and continuously hit Jie Bu Zai till the doctor gave her a jab to calm her down. Jie Bu Zai felt very sad and wanted to leave when he saw Hai Nuo and friends approaching Xiang Zhen’s ward. Jie Bu Zai quickly carried Xiang Zhen away and left the hospital. Jie Bu Zai brought Xiang Zhen to a remote hideout.

After sorting out the saved design sketches from being burnt, Ai Qing placed them on Zi Hao’s desk when she spotted a depressed Zi Hao sitting at a corner. Pretending to be carefree, Zi Hao hand made a stalk of flower out from a fabric and presented it to Ai Qing. Ai Qing was happy, full of admiration and felt blessed. Inorder to hide her embarrassment, Ai Qing left the studio quickly, making a few clumsy stumbles. Zi Hao felt less restless as if Ai Qing had helped to ease away his frustrations.

The next day Ai Qing went to look for Hai Nuo. Uncle Zhong informed Ai Qing that Xiang Zhen’s baby was Jie Bu Zai’s. Ai Qing felt unforgiveable. Hai Nuo came back and advised Uncle Zhong to return a customer’s old lamp as the lamp was faulty and the cable could easily catch fire. Ai Qing requested Hai Nuo to help Zi Hao. Hai Nuo forced Ai Qing to reveal since when she started liking Zi Hao. Ai Qing really did not know when she started liking Zi Hao. Though Hai Nuo felt dejected, he still accompanied Ai Qing to the boutiques to take pictures and also quietly took pictures of Ai Qing.

While at the farmstead Zi Hao felt uneasy after Ai Qing’s grandpa told him of his elation of handing over Ai Qing to the care of Hai Nuo. Hai Nuo sent Ai Qing back to the farmstead. Ai Qing apologized for her wrong accusation at Hai Nuo on Xiang Zhen’s case. Receiving Ai Qing’s sympathy, Hai Nuo’s heart felt a mixed feeling of bitterness and sadness.

Ai Qing was on the verge of leaving the album of pictures that she took on Zi Hao’s desk when Emma snatched the album from Ai Qing’s hands. In the midst of Ai Qing trying to retrieve the album from Emma, she accidentally pushed Emma against the glass door, the impact of Emma’s fall breaking the glass door pane. Zi Hao scolded Ai Qing and demanded an explanation. Swallowing the brunt of Zi Hao’s anger, Ai Qing did not offer any explanation and sadly left the studio with the photo album. Zi Hao ordered Freddie to follow after Ai Qing to find out the truth. Freddie caringly enquired Ai Qing about the matter. Realizing Ai Qing’s love for Zi Hao, Freddie decided to help Ai Qing. Freddie took Ai Qing’s photo album, gave it to Zi Hao and explained the cause of the incident. Freddie was surprised to see Zi Hao supporting Ai Qing. Zi Hao ordered everyone to leave him alone and asked Freddie to wait for his further instructions on the cancellation of the Spring Fashion Show.

Zi Hao then flipped through the album of pictures Ai Qing took, and saw the picture of Ai Qing and Hai Huo, so intimate together.

Episode 7 ……

Xiang Zhen tried to escape but was caught by Jie Bu Zai. Later she was rescued by Hai Nuo and friends who were following Ha Lei, Jie Bu Zai’s team mate. Hai Nuo let go of Jie Bu Zai and took Xiang Zhen away. Jie Bu Zai was full of hatred for Hai Nuo. Xiang Zhen agreed to follow Hai Nuo back to his home. On the road, they missed Katrina who was on her way to visit Zi Hao.

At last Ai Qing’s grandpa knew Ai Qing loved Zi Hao, but he was worried. Listlessly Ai Qing walked to Zi Hao’s studio and saw him busy altering his designs. Ai Qing asked Zi Hao if he needed any help. Zi Hao said yes and gave her some instructions. While coaching her, their lips accidentally touched and the scene was seen by Katrina. Misunderstanding the scene, Katrina cried and left, unknown to Zi Hao who continued with his work.
Hai Nuo’s concern made Xiang Zhen very happy and she dare not disclose her miscarriage to Hai Nuo. Xiang Zhen only told Hai Nuo that Katrina wanted her to return to the modeling stage. Hai Nuo was excited for Xiang Zhen and sent her to Zi Hao’s studio. Hai Nuo wanted to declare his love again for Ai Qing.

Zi Hao returned the wooden pony to Ai Qing, thanking her for helping him. Ai Qing wanted to declare her love for Zi Hao but she was stumbling with her words. Zi Hao thought that Ai Qing wanted him to return her the accidental kiss. Finally Ai Qing blurted out that she liked Zi Hao. Feeling embarrassed after her declaration, Ai Qing moved backwards and nearly fell into the stream if not for Zi Hao pulling her into his arns, hugging her momentarily. Zi Hao smiled looking at Ai Qing’s back. Hai Nuo painfully accepted Ai Qing’s choice.

Katrina and Xiang Zhen joined Zi Hao’s Fashion Show. Katrina took the chance to talk to Zi Hao about their relationship. Zi Hao felt that their views had varied greatly. Afraid of Zi Hao wanting to break-off their relationship, Katrina evaded replying Zi Hao and gave excuse to discuss the matter later. Then Ai Qing came and gave Zi Hao the coin which he threw away in Paris as a talisman to protect him. Hai Nuo helped Xiang Zhen to collect her things and was beaten up by Jie Bu Zai. Uncle Zhong, concerned for Hai Nuo’s safety, ordered Hai Nuo not to help Xiang Zhen. In the midst of their argument, Hai Nuo accidentally pushed uncle Zhong and broke his favourite mug.

Everyone was laughing at Ai Qing who was dressed up like a ranch girl. Zi Hao requested his staff to dress up Ai Qing and he personally put on makeup for Ai Qing, transforming her into a pretty lady. Ai Qing found out Emma was collaborating with He Xin to spoil Zi Hao’s Fashion Show. Ai Qing warned Emma, but Emma did not take heed and threw marbles onto the catwalk stage floor, thereby causing Katrina to fall. Ai Qing picked up the marbles and wanted to disclose the facts when He Xin accused her of the guilty act. But Zi Hao ignored He Xin’s words and claimed that He Xin had lost his bet since Zi Hao’s Fashion Show was carried out as planned.

Zi Hao went to see Katrina and enquired on the condition of her foot’s injury. Katrina wanted Zi Hao to accompany her to the doctor. Zi Hao refused. Katrina became angry and accused Ai Qing for harming her. Zi Hao did not wish to comment and left Katrina. Katrina was disappointed and felt hurt.

Ai Qing cried and poured out her frustrations while her grandpa consoling her. Zi Hao came to Ai Qing’s shack and told her he least suspected her for causing harm to Katrina. Zi Hao invited Ai Qing out for dinner as a gesture to thank Ai Qing for helping him and letting her know of his response to her declaration of love. Ai Qing was taken aback and not prepared at all. Instead she postponed the dinner appointment till the next night.

Xiang Zhen scolded and beat Jie Bu Zai for attacking Hai Nuo. Jie Bu Zai retaliated and threatened he would ensure Hai Nuo pay the price and warned Hai Nuo to take care of his antique shop. On hearing Jie Bu Zai’s threats, Xiang Zhen rushed to look for Hai Nuo.
Hai Nuo was sorry for arguing with uncle Zhong. On seeing uncle Zhong was alright, he left with Xiang Zhen and Ah Bu for a motorbike racing. Uncle Zhong was trying to contact Hai Nuo. After numerous unsuccessful attempts, uncle Zhong closed the shop and went to sleep. Ha Lei came to the antique shop, threw a stone into the glass showcase which hit the Christmas tree.

Episode 8 …..

Ha Lei and gang came to the antique shop and threw a stone into the glass showcase hitting the christmas tree. The lighted christmas tree then toppled and sparked off a fire in the antique shop. Hai Nuo saw a fire engine heading towards the direction where the antique shop was located. Feeling uneasy, Hai Nuo rushed home but it was too late. The antique shop and uncle Zhong perished in the fire.

Zi Hao’s father was angry with Zi Hao for breaking up with Katrina. Zi Hao claimed that Ai Qing was his lifetime partner choice. Zi Hao’s father consoled Katrina, asking her to stay on. Katrina felt humiliated.

Zi Hao presented Ai Qing am evening dress. Ai Qing was very happy and looking forward to the dinner appointment. However Ai Qing’s grandpa felt they were not compatible and began to feel uneasy. Ai Qing was cycling out from the farmstead when she met Ah Bu at the gate informing her of uncle Zhong’s death and the fire. Ai Qing immediately followed Ah Bu to see Hai Nuo, consoling him. Seeing Hai Nuo so calm, Ai Qing was relunctant to leave Hai Nuo for her date with Zi Hao. Upon hearing uncle Zhong’s voice messages in his handphone, Hai Nuo finally broke down and cried, hugging Ai Qing.

Zi Hao bought a bouquet of flowers and arrived at the restaurant. While waiting for Ai Qing, Zi Hao smilingly recalled Ai Qing’s naïve actions and her declaration of love for him. Zi Hao waited till the restaurant closed but Ai Qing still had not turned up. On the other hand, Hai Nuo regained his composure and quickly sent Ai Qing to the restaurant. However the restaurant already closed and Zi Hao had already left. Hai Nuo accompanied Ai Qing to look for Zi Hao. Feeling disappointed, Ai Qing cried with Hai Nuo holding her, consoling her. This scene was seen by an angry Zi Hao who immediately drove his car towards them, stopping infront of them. Upon seeing Zi Hao, Ai Qing happily approached Zi Hao but Zi Hao treated her coldly. Zi Hao’s cold response made Ai Qing unhappy and she felt disappointed. Seeing Ai Qing’s unhappiness, Hai Nuo scolded Zi Hao for mistreating Ai Qing. Then a fight ensued between Hai Nuo and Zi Hao. Ai Qing failed to stop the fight and walked away crying. Hai Nuo explained to Zi Hao why Ai Qing was late for his date. Upon hearing Hai Nuo’s explanation, Zi Hao thanked Hai Nuo and quickly chased after Ai Qing. Zi Hao caught up with Ai Qing, apologized to Ai Qing and expressing his liking for Ai Qing too. Then Zi Hao hugged Ai Qing. Seeing them reconciled, a sad Hai Nuo silently left them.

Xiang Zhen accused Jie Bu Zai for causing harm to Hai Nuo. Jie Bu Zai denied setting fire to the antique shop. Xiang Zhen sweared that she would find the evidence to prove Jie Bu Zai’s guilty of the act. Hai Nuo and Ah Bu scolded Xiang Zhen for her impulsive action.

After sending Ai Qing home, Zi Hao returned home with Katrina looking down from her room’s window. Next morning during breakfast Zi Hao’s father said he planned to announce the marriage between Zi Hao and Katrina during the press conference. But Zi Hao disapproved, and Katrina also expressed her relunctance to use this manner for her marriage. She then left the dining room immediately. Zi Hao wished to formally introduced Ai Qing to his parents. Zi Hao’s dad expressed his dislike of Ai Qing and did not wish to meet her, leaving Zi Hao and his mother silently staring at each other. Katrina overheard what Zi Hao said. She felt disappointed and sadly returned to her room.

Zi Hao wished to formally introduced Ai Qing to his parents, but his father refused showing his dislike for her. Then he left Zi Hao and Zi Hao’s mum solemnly staring at each other. Upon hearing Zi Hao’s intention, Katrina was real disappointed, sadly returned to her room and seek her father, Cosmo’s, support.

Hai Nuo temporarily put up at Ah Bu’s home. Xiang Zhen insisted staying there as well. At the same time, the debtors came to look for Hai Nuo to chase for their debts. Xiang Zhen angrily helped to fend off the debtors. Hai Nuo quickly apologized, but the debtors still resumed their beating. Ba Wang came, helped Hai Nuo to fend off the debtors and reconciled his friendship with Hai Nuo.

Globe Corporation held a Press Conference. Zheng Guo (Zi Hao’s father) announced Globe Corporation franchising D-zire. He Xin took the chance to disrupt the Press Conference. Zheng Guo also took the chance to announce the engagement between Zi Hao and Katrina. However Zi Hao disclosed his break-up with Katrina and Ai Qing as his girlfriend. At the same time Zi Hao expressed his intention to redesign 〝天國的嫁衣〞(Heavenly Wedding Gown). Zi Hao’s workers and everyone present at the Press Conference could not believe what they had just heard.

A sad Katrina drove off with Zi Hao chasing after her. Zi Hao managed to jump into Katrina’s car. Despite Zi Hao’s advise to stop the car, Katrina continued to drive recklessly. Then they met with an accident ……….

Xiang Zhen accompanied Hai Nuo to borrow money from the bankers, but they were not successful. While walking in the streets, Hai Nuo coincidentally saw from a window shop’s TV about Zi Hao’s news. Then Jie Bu Zai came and offered Hai Nuo to participate in an illegal motorbike race to obtain the money to pay off his debts. Unwillingly Hai Nuo accepted. Xiang Zhen wanted to help Hai Nuo. She nearly robbed a grocery shop.

In the accident, Zi Hao only obtained slight injuries while the doctor said Katrina’s condition was not good and refused to allow Zi Hao to see Katrina. On the other hand, Cosmo quietly left the hospital with Katrina. Zheng Guo blamed Zi Hao for causing Katrina’s death and would not allow Zi Hao to marry Ai Qing. Zi Hao felt very depressed. Then Ai Qing called him. Listening to Ai Qing’s voice somehow had helped to ease the pain in his heart and Zi Hao felt more relaxed.

Xiang Zhen blamed herself for the failure in her robbery stint. Jie Bu Zai came and expressed his torment in seeing Xiang Zhen’s sacrificing for Hai Nuo and not revealing to Hai Nuo about her miscarriage. Xiang Zhen sweared she would never forgive Je Bu Zai. Hai Nuo overheard what Xiang Zhen said. Hai Nuo was deeply touched and scolded Xiang Zhen for being so silly. Hai Nuo also expressed he did not wish to lose her as he considered Xiang Zhen as the only one from his family who still remained at his side.

Emma and her colleagues surrounded Ai Qing and blamed her for enticing Zi Hao. Freddie came and stopped them from jeering Ai Qing further. Then Zi Hao’s mum telephoned and informed Freddie about the accident and Katrina’s death. Upon hearing the bad news, Emma and her colleagues were even more angry at Ai Qing and blamed her for causing the tragedy. Ai Qing felt very sad and disparaged.

A tormented Ai Qing felt since she knew Zi Hao, she had brought considerable troubles to Zi Hao. Zi Hao consoled Ai Qing, telling her not to blame herself and it was his choice to be with her. They embraced, afraid of losing each other. Freddie 's handphone rang, it was Ah Bu. Zi Hao advised Ai Qing to go and meet Hai Nuo as it must be pretty urgent for Ah Bu to call her up. Due to Zi Hao’s love confession for Ai Qing, Hai Nuo was pretty dejected and chased Ai Qing away. Ai Qing told Hai Nuo about Katrina’s death. Upon hearing the news, Xiang Zhen was shocked. Hai Nuo apologized for his earlier rudeness. Ai Qing advised Hai Nuo not to make fun of his life.

Ai Qing’s grandpa consoled a sad Ai Qing, expressing she and Zi Hao were from different worlds and Ai Qing would have to face a lot of pressure and pain that she could never imagine. He wanted Ai Qing to seriously think about the consequences. Ai Qing painfully looked into the studio where a depressed Zi Hao locked himself in. Zi Hao’s mum then came and informed Zi Hao that Cosmo had took Katrina away from the hospital. Zi Hao disbelieved his mother and ordered Freddie to check out the matter at the hospital. When Zi Hao sent his mum out of the studio, both of them saw Ai Qing fallen asleep underneath the tree with her pet rabbit on her lap. Zi Hao lovingly kissed Ai Qing’s forehead which woke her up. Zi Hao informed Ai Qing Katrina was still alive. Then both of them went to inform Ai Qing’s grandpa of the good news. Zi Hao also took the opportunity to seek Ai Qing’s grandpa’s acceptance of their relationship. Ai Qing’s grandpa clearly said Ai Qing’s personality not compatible with Zi Hao and wished to understand why Zi Hao liked Ai Qing. Zi Hao explained he was attracted to Ai Qing’s innocence, straightforwardness and particularly Ai Qing’s happy disposition Her sunny smiles could ease away all troubles. Zi Hao also informed Ai Qing’s grandpa of his intention to take Ai Qing to meet his parents. Ai Qing began to feel worried. Zi Hao pacified her and said he would help to dress her up for the appointment. Then they went to Ah Bu’s place to inform them of Katrina’s wellbeing. Ah Bu scolded Ai Qing for being indiscreet and not caring for Hai Nuo’s feelings for bringing Zi Hao along to their place. Face to face with Zi Hao, Hai Nuo clearly indicated that he would not give up Ai Qing.

At uncle Zhong’s graveyard, Hai Nuo firmly expressed he won’t lose, he would only win. Xiang Zhen felt Hai Nuo did not wish to lose out to Zi Hao and confessed her love for Hai Nuo. But Hai Nuo remained unresponsive.

Freddie went to the hospital to check out Katrina’s case with the examining doctor.
Ai Qing happily informed Emma and her colleagues that Katrina was still alive. Excitedly Ai Qing reassured herself to be prepared for the meeting with Zi Hao’s parents. He Xin went to look for Zi Hao for information on Katrina’s news, and met Cosmo who came to make a fuss about Katrina’s case . With no other choice, Zi Hao took out the medical records which Freddie took from the hospital , revealing the facts that Katrina was still alive and was taken away from the hospital by Cosmo himself. A mad Cosmo then left, followed by He Xin who was chased away by Zi Hao. Zi Hao took the chance to remind his father of his wish to bring Ai Qing to meet him. Zi Hao’s father disapproved of Ai Qing. After much explanation, Zi Hao’s father finally agreed to meet Ai Qing that night, one and only chance.

Zi Hao went to D-zire boutique and was not happy with the clothes’ display arrangement. However the boutique’s new chief executive Pei Ya Xi retaliated Zi Hao having no right to interfere her job. Zi Hao chose the gown that was earlier booked by Ya Xi and on the verge of leaving the boutique when Ya Xi uttered a word. A surprised Zi Hao then turned round and looked at Ya Xi. Ya Xi told Zi Hao she’s Xing Xing’s elder sister, and took out an old diary. Ya Xi explained it was through this diary that she got to know Zi Hao and wanted to give the diary to Zi Hao. But Zi Hao rejected her offer and asked if she had any place to stay. Ya Xi told Zi Hao his father had already arranged for her to stay in at Zi Hao’s home.

Since Ai Qing had a handphone, she wanted Ah Bu to contact her immediately if anything happened to Hai Nuo. He Xin came to the farmstead to stir up some unrest, but was chased away by Zi Hao who returned to the farmstead with Ya Xi. Ya Xi wanted to meet Ai Qing.

Zi Hao officially announced to his staff that Ai Qing was his girlfriend and he would be bringing her to meet his parents for dinner. Zi Hao requested his staff to help dressed up Ai Qing for the dinner appointment. Sitting alone at his desk, Zi Hao stared hard at the framed up poster of his previous wedding gown design.

Jie Bu Zai called to inform Hai Nuo about the night’s racing time had been changed to an earlier time. Jie Bu Zai challenged Hai Nuo about the race amd Hai Nuo retorted in return that he would be punctual at the racing venue.

Ai Qing told Zi Hao she would go to the restaurant herself. Zi Hao reminded her not to be late. Then Ah Bu called to inform her about the racing beginning earlier. Emma heard the phone conversation and informed He Xin accordingly. Ai Qing was on her way to the restaurant but she felt uneasy that something might happen.

Cosmo called to remind Ya Xi that inorder to have Zi Hao, she needed to work her plans from Zi Hao’s dad. Cosmo also informed Ya Xi that Ai Qing might not be able to turn up for the dinner appointment as there’s a possibility that Ai Qing would be going to Hai Nuo’s racing venue. Cosmo wanted Ya Xi to make the best of the chance.

Hai Nuo disregarded the Motorbike Racing Association’s warning that he would be disqualified as their racer, and adamantly went ahead to compete in the illegal race. Ah Bu and gang insisted to support Hai Nuo, joined in the race and demonstrated in opposed to the Association’s warning. Ah Bu requested Xiang Zheng to call Ai Qing to come over to stop Hai Nuo from competing in the race. Due to Xiang Zheng’s jealousy, she switched off the handphone.

Ai Qing was busy trying to reach Hai Nuo on her handphone but not successful. As she was worried and deep in thoughts, upon arrival at the restaurant she alighted the taxi without realizing that she had carelessly left her handphone in the taxi. Ai Qing waited awhile for Zi Hao but at last decided to go and look for Hai Nuo. Worrying about Hai Nuo’s safety, Ai Qing hurriedly left the restaurant and missed seeing Zi Hao arriving at the restaurant with his parents and Ya Xi. Ya Xi saw Ai Qing and kept quiet about it. Zi Hao’s father was unhappy that Ai Qing did not turn up and wanted to leave immediately. Ya Xi pretentiously helped to pacify the matter. Zi Hao failed to contact Ai Qing. All this while the dogger reporters were secretly taking pics of them.

Ai Qing arrived at the racing venue and tried to dissuade Hai Nuo from competing in the race, but Hai Nuo kissed her instead. All the while He Xin was secretly snapping pics of them. Hai Nuo went on to compete in the race.

On the other hand Zi Hao’s father refused to wait for Ai Qing and left the restaurant angrily with Zi Hao’s mother. Ya Xi stayed on accompanying Zi Hao to wait for Ai Qing. The dogger reporters were there to take pics of the whole scenario and reported to He Xin accordingly.

Hai Nuo won the race. Ai Qing was hurt and regretted that she was late for her dinner appointment because of Hai Nuo. Remorsefully she left Hai Nuo and only realized she had lost her handphone when she wanted to contact Zi Hao. Ai Qing rushed to the main road and managed to flag a taxi but Zi Hao had already left when Ai Qing arrived at the restaurant. Ai Qing disappointedly waited outside the restaurant. Zi Hao missed seeing Ai Qing when he drove his car passed the restaurant. Ya Xi saw Ai Qing but kept quiet about it. Ya Xi pretentiously consoled Zi Hao, advising him to trust Ai Qing. A sad and helpless Ai Qing continued to wait outside the restaurant. The restaurant’s manager saw Ai Qing. Then Hai Nuo came, but Ai Qing insisted on waiting for Zi Hao to return to look for her. Ai Qing borrowed Hai Nuo’s handphone to call Zi Hao, but there was no response. When Zi Hao reached the farmstead, he quickly looked for Ai Qing but she was not there. Zi Hao asked Ya Xi to drive his car to go home. Ya Xi spotted Zi Hao’s handphone in the car and saw the numerous missed calls from Hai Nuo. She purposely erased all the messages.

A spiritless Zi Hao was sitting in his working studio when he suddenly had the inspiration to start designing a wedding gown. With Hai Nuo companying her, Ai Qing waited outside the restaurant for the whole night. A disappointed Ai Qing, wearing Hai Nuo’s jacket, at last decided to leave the restaurant and met the restaurant’s manager who came to work that morning. Hai Nuo sent Ai Qing back to the farmstead.

At the farmstead, due to exhaustion, Ai Qing slipped and almost fell. Hai Huo stepped forward and pulled Ai Qing into his arms holding her, hitting his chest telling Ai Qing his heart would forever be hers. Ai Qing was sad and softly responded that her heart belonged to someone else. Zi Hao saw them, misunderstood and refused to listen to Ai Qing’s explanation. Zi Hao gave Ai Qing a cold shoulder and left the farmstead.

Zi Hao returned home and discussed his frustrations with his mother. After Zi Hao’s mother clarified the feelings of true love, Zi Hao realized his mistake and happily decided to look for Ai Qing to clear their misunderstanding. Before Zi Hao left the house, Zi Hao’s mother gave Zi Hao a letter. Upon seeing the letter, Zi Hao was even happier and kissed his mother cheeks. In the car, Zi Hao opened the letter and out came a sculptured coin divided into 2 halves. While on his way to the farmstead, Zi Hao saw the streets televisions broadcasting the news of Hai Nuo’s illegal race and the pic of Hai Nuo kissing Ai Qing. Zi Hao’s happiness immediately transformed into anger.

With the winnings that he won from the illegal racing, Nai Nuo went to settle the debts with Ying and found Jie Bu Zai there. Xiang Zhen scolded Jie Bu Zai for harming Hai Nuo. Ba Wang wanted to beat up Jie Bu Zai, but Ying punched him instead. Ying said nobody was allowed to harm his brother, and wanted Hai Nuo to help him to do another job to pay off the balance debts. Hai Nuo saw the news reported on Ai Qing, and left hurriedly to look for Ai Qing. Xiang Zhen shouted after Hai Nuo remarking that she would kill Ai Qing. Jie Bu Zai took the cue and informed Xiang Zhen he would help her, but Xiang Zhen did not agree and said she was just making a remark.

The news report caused Globe Corporation’s reputation at stake, and its business plummeted. Zi Hao’s father went to look for Ai Qing and tried to buy her off with money to leave Zi Hao. Ai Qing stressed that she love Zi Hao truly, and her love could not be measured in money values. Zi Hao’s father told Ai Qing that if Ai Qing did not leave Zi Hao, Zi Hao would lose everything. Ai Qing knelt down appealing Zi Hao’s father to help Zi Hao. Ai Qing’s grandfather, not wishing Ai Qing to be further tormented, painfully took the cheque from Zi Hao’s father. This whole scene was seen by Xiang Zhen. Xiang Zhen threatened Ai Qing not to see Hai Nuo. The tormented Ai Qing instead retorted that she would now go and look for Hai Nuo. Hai Nuo was happy to hear Ai Qing’s words, and disclosed to Xiang Zhen he had never loved her. Then Hai Nuo embraced Ai Qing. With the hurt and frustrations broiled up and thinking of Zi Hao’s predicament, a helpless Ai Qing felt a temporary solace in Hao Nuo’s arms.

A depressed Xiang Zhen rode off recklessly in her bike with Jie Bu Zai chasing after her. Jie Bu Zai confessed his love for Xiang Zhen and willing to die for her. Xiang Zhen was full of hatred, but for a moment a glimpse of foregivness could be seen in her eyes. Ai Qing and Hai Nuo went to look for Zi Hao. Ai Qing steadfastly told Zi Hao that she had made her decision to be with Hai Nuo. Hai Nuo then warned Zi Hao to keep a distance from Ai Qing. Zi Hao stressed he had faith in their love, and hope Ai Qing would believe him and fight the battle together.

Ya Xi invited Zi Hao for a drink. The restaurant manager informed Zi Hao about Ai Qing waited overnight outside the restaurant. Upon hearing this, Zi Hao was very happy while Ya Xi was feeling uneasy. Zi Hao made a sudden decision to propose engagement to Ai Qing. Thinking it would help her to forget Zi Hao and her pain, Ai Qing kept herself occupied going round town. Hai Nuo understood Ai Qing’s moods. Hai Nuo expressed he loved Ai Qing dearly and want Ai Qing to tell him early if she could not forget Zi Hao. Ying obtained the chip which contained the researched data on eternal youth invented by the Swiss Hospital. Ying was attacked by a group of investigators from Interpol. Jie Bu Zai came with his gang to help fight the investigators and rescued his brother, Ying. Ying explained to Jie Bu Zai about the matter.

Because of Ai Qing, Zi Hao and Hai Nuo fought. Xiang Zhen disrupted the fight telling both of them that Zi Hao’s father had paid Ai Qing to leave Zi Hao. Upon hearing that, both of them were stunt. Hai Nuo was hurt. Zi Hao announced he would propose engagement to Ai Qing and disbelieve what Xiang Zhen had just said. Zi Hao then went home and questioned his father about him paying Ai Qing to leave Zi Hao. In the midst of their argument, Zi Hao mentioned that he would propose engagement to Ai Qing and have the engagement carried out within a week. Zi Hao’s father angrily blamed Zi Hao’s mother for spoiling Zi Hao and threatened that he would degrade D-zire if Ai Qing remained at the farmstead. Ya Xi sadly picked up Cosmo’s call. Zi Hao’s mother accidentally overheard Ya Xi’s conversation with Cosmo. Zi Hao’s mother encouraged Zi Hao to be firm with his decision and never give up his love for Ai Qing. Zi Hao’s mother also warned Zi Hao to be alert on Ya Xi’s extreme passion display. Ya Xi was feeling very uneasy about Zi Hao’s engagement with Ai Qing, and wanted to discuss the matter with Cosmo but failed to contact him. No longer could she hold back, Ai Qing broke down and cried out her frustrations and pain, with her grandfather comforting her.

Hai Nuo agreed to help Ying with a condition that Ying would not harass Ai Qing and any of his friends. Ying wanted Hai Nuo to wait for his further instructions. Xiang Zhen questioned Hai Nuo why he was so concern of Ai Qing and willing to do anything for her, while neglecting her (Xiang Zhen) existence. Hai Nuo explained to Xiang Zhen that she would later come to understand his unsacrificial love for Ai Qing.

Ya Xi informed Ai Qing that Zi Hao was willing to give up everything to propose engagement to Ai Qing, even to the extent of antagonizing his father. Ai Qing realized Ya Xi liked Zi Hao and promised she would not have anything with Zi Hao. Ai Qing purposely treated Zi Hao cooledly. Zi Hao pulled Ai Qing into his studio and showed her the sketch of the 2nd wedding gown he designed. Ai Qing held back her tears, tore the sketch and left the studio, with Zi Hao staring after her, his eyes full of hurt.

Freddie came trying to convince Ai Qing to change her mind, telling Ai Qing about Zi Hao’s mother having the same predicament as Ai Qing now. Hai Nuo hurriedly dragged Ai Qing out to have fun, afraid that Freddie would influence Ai Qing’s decision. Zi Hao looked caringly at Ai Qing, praising her beauty but the momentary intimateness between them was disrupted when Ba Wang appeared.

Challlengingly Xiang Zhen appealed to Jie Bu Zai to let her replace Hai Nuo to help Ying to carry out the job. Angrily Jie Bu Zai agreed and asked Xiang Zhen to give Hai Nuo a false warehouse key.

Zi Hao’s mother accidentally came across Xing Xing’s diary on Ya Xi’s desk, and saw a photo of Ya Xi taken with Xing Xing. Zi Hao’s mother also saw Ai Qing’s letter and received a call for Ya Xi from Cosmo. This raised Zi Hao’s mother suspicions but she was not clear what evil plans both Cosmo and Ya Xi were conspiring. Zi Hao’s mother overheard Zi Hao’s father asking Ya Xi to replace Ai Qing for the engagement to Zi Hao. Zi Hao’s mother wanted Zi Hao’s father to stop interrupting the relationship between Zi Hao and Ai Qing. Ya Xi busily helped Zi Hao’s father to explain Zi Hai’s father acceptance of Zi Hao’s engagement to Ai Qing. Zi Hao was happy while Zi Hao’s mother was suspicious.

Zi Hao’s mother came to the farmstead trying to change Ai Qing’s mind. Not wanting to hear Zi Hao’s mother and Zi Hao’s explanation, a tormented Ai Qing quickly left with Hai Nuo to Ah Bu’s place for a barbeque party, in order to forget her pain.

Jie Bu Zai gave the warehouse key to Hai Nuo. Hai Nuo said he knew Jie Bu Zai loved Xiang Zhen and warned Jie Bu Zai not to hurt Xiang Zhen as he treasured Xiang Zhen as his family member. Overhearing Hai Nuo’s words, Xiang Zhen cried uncontrollably and did not know how to stop loving Hai Nuo.

Using the list of telephone calls recorded between Cosmo and Ya Xi, Zi Hao’s mother wanted Ya Xi to hand in her resignation to Zi Hao’s father and advised her love could not be forced

Ai Qing painstakingly picked up the pieces of torn papers of the sketch of the wedding gown designed by Zi Hao. Zi Hao walked passed his studio without seeing Ai Qing who was squatting on the floor picking up the pieces of torn paper. Both Zi Hao and Ai Qing were getting more and more estranged. While walking out of the farmstead and holding the sculptured coin in his hand, Zi Hao recalled Hai Nuo’s words that what he had done so far for Ai Qing.

Zi Hao was taking a walk when he was harassed by a gang of rascal motorbikers. During the commotion, Zi Hao accidentally dropped the sculptured coin. Without heeding the danger he was in, Zi Hao frantically looked everywhere for the coin. Luckily Stan came and chased away the rascals. Zi Hao managed to find the coin, and mumbling to himself he could not lose the coin as it represented his promise of love to Ai Qing. Hai Nuo, who was nearby, witnessed the whole situation and felt sympathy for Zi Hao.

Ai Qing’s grandfather advised Hai Nuo to take every opportunity to win over Ai Qing’s love. Hai Nuo took the cue and promised he would do his best. Then Hai Nuo left to look for Ai Qing.

On the other hand Zi Hao’s mum tried to expose Ya Xi’s true identity to Zi Hao’s father. Ya Xi denied everything and said she fell in love with Zi Hao through reading what Xing Xing had written about Zi Hao in her diary. Zi Hao’s mum failed to locate Ai Qing’s letter and met the wrath of anger from Zi Hao’s father. Exasperatedly Zi Hao’s mum left them and looked for Zi Hao wanting to disclose to him about Ya Xi. Ya Xi quickly followed after her and threatened if Zi Hao’s mum disclosed the matter to Zi Hao, with the support of Cosmo, she would easily cause the downfall of Globe Corporation. Zi Hao’s mum was shocked to hear Ya Xi’s words, and dare not disclose anything to Zi Hao when she met him at the passageway.

Acting upon Ying’s orders, Hai Nuo came to the hotel room but could not open the door. Hai Nuo informed Ying about the matter and Ying asked him to leave the hotel immediately. Ying then ordered his henchmen to waylaid Jie Bu Zai and bring Jie Bu Zai to him. Ying’s henchman, She Yan and his men, waylaid Jie Bu Zai and Xiang Zhen when they tried to entered the hotel room.

Meanwhile Ai Qing’s brother, Ya Qun, owed Ying NT$3,000,000/= and captured by Ying’s henchmen. Ying and his henchmen brought Ya Qun to the farmstead demanding Ai Qing’s grandfather to settle Ya Qun’s debts. In a haste to protect himself, Ya Qun blurted out that his sister, Ai Qing’s fiancée to be, was Zi Hao. The whole scene was seen by Zi Hao who was standing quietly outside the wooden shack.

On behalf of Zi Hao, Freddie gave the diamond ring to Ai Qing. Ai Qing took the diamond ring to look for Zi Hao and returned the ring to him. Zi Hao looked into Ai Qing’s eyes sincerely, and disclosed his true feelings to Ai Qing, but Ai Qing still rejected him. Disappointedly Zi Hao then threw the diamond ring into the lake. Ai Qing cruelly made her decision and ran off holding back her tear, leaving Zi Hao hopelessly staring after her back.

Ying punished Xiang Zhen with Jie Bu Zai protecting her, and instead both of them got beaten up by Ying. They took the chance to escape from Ying when a fax came in, disrupting Ying’s beating.

Hai Nuo challenged Zi Hao to a deadly motorbike race at Hell’s Cliff. Zi Hao accepted and prepared himself for the deadly motorbike race. When the motorbikes almost reached the cliff’s end, Hai Nuo jumped off from his motorbike pulling Zi Hao down together with him onto the ground. Zi Hao then seriously said to Hai Nuo whatever Hai Nuo could do for Ai Qing, he too could also do.

Ying came to look for Hai Nuo and demanded Hai Nuo’s responsibility over Xiang Zhen’s rash action. Hai Nuo anxiously enquired about Xiang Zhen’s safety and whereabouts, and agreed to help Ying one more time. Hai Nuo reiterated he would fight back if Xiang Zhen came to any harm. Ying then disclosed that Xiang Zhen had been taken away by Jie Bu Zai.

Zi Hao went home and disclosed to his mum that he would never give up Ai Qing. His mum encouraged him to be firm with his decision. Zi Hao’s mum then expressed clearly to Zi Hao’s father that she would never accept Ya Xi replacing Ai Qing. A nearby Ya Xi overheard the conversation.

Stan went to look for Ai Qing and informed her about Zi Hao being harassed by a group of rascal bikers and taking the challenge to have the deadly motorbike race with Hai Nuo.
Besides Zi Hao had also been working days and nights trying to finish up the heavenly wedding gown. Though Zi Hao was sick, he still continued to work on the wedding gown at his studio. Stan wanted Ai Qing to see Zi Hao and advised him to take a rest. Upon hearing Zi Hao was sick, though she felt anxious and a pain in her heart, Ai Qing disheartenly refused to accept Stan’s request to pay Zi Hao a visit. Knowing Ai Qing’s fighting with her inner feelings, Ai Qing’s grandfather advised her to go to see Zi Hao. When Ai Qing arrived at Zi Hao’s working studio, she was undecisive whether she should go into the studio to see Zi Hao. At last she just mumbled some words outside the studio and wanted to leave but felt something amissed when there was no response from Zi Hao. Ai Qing pushed at the studio door, walked in and found Zi Hao unconscious on the floor. Ai Qing became panic and frantically seek her grandfather’s help.

Hai Nuo scolded Xiang Zhen for being so silly to fight against Ying. Xiang Zhen felt if Hai Nuo considered her as his family, he should allow her to share the burden of his problems. Ah Bu also wished to help, but Hai Nuo did not wish to get them entangled in his problems.
Meanwhile Zi Hao’s father was agreeable to Ya Xi’s plans and wished her to be part of his family. Ya Xi warned Zi Hao’s mum if she wanted to say anything, she better do so otherwise she might not have the chance later.

Coming back to Ai Qing taking care of Zi Hao the whole night at the studio. After taken some medication and Ai Qing’s tender care, Zi Hao regained his consciousness and saw Ai Qing sitting near the couch with her head on his body. Both Zi Hao and Ai Qing wished that loving moment would last forever with Zi Hao hoping it was not a dream. The next morning Ai Qing woke up and gazed lovingly at Zi Hao, feeling his forehead to check if his fever had subsided. Ai Qing happily prepared breakfast for Zi Hao but met Ya Xi who came to check on Zi Hao. Ya Xi reminded Ai Qing of her promise not to be with Zi Hao, and took over the breakfast tray from Ai Qing. When Zi Hao woke up and saw Ya Xi, Zi Hao thought it was just a dream with Ai Qing and Ya Xi was the one who took care of him. Ya Xi advised Zi Hao to go home for a rest.

Ai Qing’s grandfather told Ai Qing all the houses nearby the farmstead had been bought by Zi Hao. Though Ai Qing very much unwilling to leave Zi Hao, she decided to get an agent to help look for her a suitable house. On her way out, she met Zi Hao and Ya Xi who were preparing to leave the farmstead for Zi Hao’s home. Ai Qing treated Zi Hao coldly. A disappointed Zi Hao then leave the farmstead with Ya Xi.

Ying threatened to harm the people closest to Hai Nuo. An anxious Hai Nuo went to seek Freddie’s help. Hai Nuo wanted Freddie to bring him to see Zi Hao.

Ya Xi wanted to take care of Zi Hao but was rejected by Zi Hao. Zi Hao’s mum almost disclosed to Zi Hao it was Ai Qing who took care of him last night but was disrupted by Ya Xi who faked her dizziness. Zi Hao’s mum wanted Zi Hao to believe what he felt in his heart, and not what he saw. Zi Hao’mum also advised Zi Hao to be firm with his decision and never allow anything to affect his decision. Zi Hao did not understand what his mum meant. Then Zi Hao’s mum warned Ya Xi not to cause any trouble at Zi Hao’s engagement party.

Freddie brought Hai Nuo to Zi Hao’s home. Hani Nuo told Zi Hao he would bring Ai Qing to the engagement party, under the condition that Zi Hao must bring happiness to Ai Qing. Painfully Hai Nuo left Zo Hao’s home. Zi Hao was happy. Zi Hao’s mum came and warned Zi Hao to be weary of Zi Hao’s father and Ya Xi, but was once again disrupted by Ya Xi. Zi Hao’s mum warned Zi Hao’s father not to allow Ya Xi to replace Ai Qing. However Zi Hao’s father was firm with his decision and wanted Zi Hao to follow his orders, otherwise Zi Hao must leave his family, leave the world of fashion designs. Zi Hao’s mum then sadly advised Zi Hao’ s father not to do anything that would make her think she had married the wrong man. Zi Hao’s father was shocked and left without saying anything.
